good workoutReviewed by Maria B. Annino, 2010-02-17
I like this instructor and the team of women in her video are
"real" looking women.
Her workout is good because it's varied and covers all bases
(cardio/strength/core).
The only thing that I didn't like was that the cardio segment was a
bit easy. I guess you could make it harder by adding arm
weights.
Overall, it's pretty fun and comprehensive.
You don't need a lot of space to do the workout, which is good.
Great Video!!!Reviewed by LilFashionista, 2010-02-11
This is an awesome video!!! Very challenging. I thought her Fat Burner video was difficult until I did this video. I love Amy Dixon...she is so motivating.
Please get this workout!!!!!Reviewed by T. Waller, 2010-02-02
Please get this workout!!! It is very easy to follow, but it is
also chanllenging. I would recommend this workout for beginners and
intermediate exercisers. This is not one of those "lose weight in
30 days" workouts. Amy does it in the right and natural way. She
doesn't cram a lot of overly hard exercises in a 20 miniute workout
to get you to lose weight. Those type of workouts in my option are
discouraging and don't give you long lasting results. Every thing,
in this dvd, is space porportiately. If you eat healthy (I don't
like the d-word) and do this dvd -straight through (don't skip the
different sections)- at least 4 times a weeks I believe you can
lose at least 1.5 pounds a weeks. Do the dvd more 5-6 times a weeks
and get greater results.
The cardio is great, the strength training is smooth and the core
is tough, but it is possible to do. Now once you start plateauing
you probably would want to move to a more chanllenging workout -
which I'm sure Women's Health has something tougher that Amy
instructs. I found the workout really fun and that says a lot for
me because I HATE exercising. Out of all my library of workout
dvds, I find this one to be the best one I've tried.

Easy to follow. I'm over 50 and overweight; but, was able to do these workouts. I think beginner to intermediate would love these....just don't forget to USE THEM if you buy them.
The cardio segment wasn't that great...Reviewed by Cassidy, 2009-11-02
But I did enjoy the strength and the core sections. I'm pretty uncoordinated myself and I didn't have much trouble following the cardio moves, but that being said, I just didn't feel like I got that great of a workout. Once that part was over I mainly felt like I could have worked much harder. Frankly I felt like my heart rate was up much more in the strength section. I don't know if it's just me but when I do squats and lunges I get sweaty and my heart rate goes up. Anyway, I found the warm up pretty dull and almost turned it off. The cardio was OK if you're trying to take it easy. But the strength and core sections were very good. My shoulders are by far the weakest part of my upper body and I had to stick with 5lb weights the whole workout instead of switching to 8lbs like I thought I would. The core section was also good - although I do wish she would have done more reps for some of the exercises. Overall it's a decent workout, but I would definitely pick something else for the cardio portion.
