Another reviewer said these were just ordinairy shoe inserts, I got them anyway and I agree. I own Shapeups which are fantastic. As far as insoles, I think the Dr. Scholl's for back pain are the best I've ever tried and cost less then the Smartsoles.

Insoles are very comfortable and I wear them everyday to work, running errands in addition to my daily walks around the neighborhood. I have not felt or seen any benefits to these insoles.

Because of an injury to my foot, I can't wear shoes with backs. I was interested in the sketchers shape ups, but I can't wear them. This was a nice alternative because I can put it inside my backless tennis shoes. They also make standing more comfortable for me.
